BENEFITS OF OWNING Lu-Cal IQF FREEZING SYSTEM

Competitively Priced
Lu-Cal IQF freezers are very competitively priced. With such competitive prices and low, low operating cost, Lu-Cal IQF represents the lowest ownership and operating costs in frozen food production. Outstanding Performance and Flexibility The unique two pass belt system moves products in a state of optimum fluidization. Variable belt-speeds and evaporation temperatures permit optimum freezing results on a wide range of products. Compact Modular Design The modular design minimizes space requirements and permits complete access to components. Operation and maintenance is therefore a simplicity in itself. In addition, wide fin spacing deployed in the evaproator coils, permits long intervals between defrosts. Sequential Defrost, available as an option in large capacity tunnels, eliminates line shutdowns, increasing product output.

Expansion Capability

The modular design of Lu-Cal IQF allows freezer capacity to be extended at a later date. Additionally the modular concept lends ideally to rapid installation in the field, thus providing the most cost effective answer to demands that arise time and again.

Robust Construction

Lu-Cal IQF tunnels are manufactured with high quality materials and components. All casings are made of 3/16" [4.76mm] marine grade aluminum while structural members are made of structural steel tubings, angles and heavy duty channels. All structures are hot-dipped and galvanized after fabrication. Fans are aluminum, backward curved, centrifugal, rotating in long-lasting double ball bearings. All other ball bearings are teflon coated and corrosion resistant.

Low Energy and Water Consumption

Lu-Cal IQF freezers consume less energy per ton of product than other freezers. Where necessary, defrost water can be recycled to reduce water consumption to an absolute minimum. In addition, our design incorporates "economizer" panels that stop product carry-over and reduce time and water requirements for cleanup.

Enviroment Friendly

Lu-Cal systems are designed for ammonia as the refrigerant. Unlike freons, ammonia presents no danger to the ozone layer.

Low Maintence

Lu-Cal tunnels are designed for trouble-free operation and sanitation. All moving parts are easily accessible and removable. In addition, standard spare parts are cheaply available.
